ASB (Amanah Saham Bumiputera) is a popular unit trust fund managed by ASNB (Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad), a subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad. It is a fixed-price fund open to Bumiputera investors, aiming to give steady annual income distributions. ASNB also manages other funds open to all Malaysians. Investors buy units and earn distributions declared each year, and some use ASB financing loans to invest a larger amount. Returns are not guaranteed and depend on fund performance.
