RUMAWIP (Residensi Wilayah, formerly Rumah Mampu Milik Wilayah Persekutuan) is an affordable housing scheme specifically for Federal Territories such as Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan. It offers homes at capped prices to eligible buyers who live or work in the Federal Territories, subject to citizenship, age, income limits, and property-ownership conditions. Applications are made online, and a moratorium period restricts reselling the unit for a number of years. The scheme aims to help lower and middle-income residents own homes in high-cost city areas. Price caps, income limits, and conditions are subject to the latest rules.
