How to survive daily KL jam commute without going gila?

Kajang to city, the MRT is your friend, seriously consider park-and-ride. What worked for me on a similar route: drive to the nearest MRT/LRT station, park at the station car park (cheaper than city parking and no toll stress), then train into the city. You skip the worst of the jam, you can rest/read/nap on the train instead of gripping the steering wheel in traffic, and total cost (parking + train) is often less than petrol + toll + city parking + car wear. The MRT from Kajang line goes right into the city core now. If your office is near a station, this is a game changer. I got back 1.5 hours of my life daily and my stress dropped massively. Driving all the way only makes sense if your office has free parking and you leave super early/late to dodge peak. Grab daily is too expensive long term, use it only when you are late or it rains. Also try flexi hours if your company allows, leaving at 7am vs 8am is night and day difference in KL traffic.
