How much bonus can I expect in my first year of working in Kuala Lumpur?
I just graduated and landed a job in KL. I'm wondering how much bonus I can expect in my first year. I've heard it varies from company to company, but I'd love to hear from people who have experience working in KL.

I've been working in KL for a few years now, and I can tell you that the average bonus for a first-year employee is around RM3,000 to RM6,000. It really depends on the company's performance and the industry you're in. But one thing's for sure - if you work hard and meet your targets, you'll have a better chance of getting a higher bonus. For example, in my current company, we have a bonus scheme that pays out up to 3 months' worth of salary if we meet our targets.

In my first year of working in KL, I received a bonus of RM5,000, which was about 2 months' worth of my salary. I was working in a marketing firm in Petaling Jaya, and the company had a good year, so they gave us a decent bonus. Of course, it varies from company to company, but I think RM5,000 is a reasonable expectation for a first-year employee.

To be honest, I didn't receive any bonus in my first year of working in KL. I was working in a startup, and they didn't have the budget to give us bonuses. But I didn't mind, because I was learning a lot and gaining valuable experience. Maybe if you're working in a bigger company, you might have a better chance of getting a bonus.

I worked in a bank in KL and received a bonus of RM8,000 in my first year. It was a bit higher than what my friends in other industries received, but I think it's because the bank had a good year and we met our targets. I was earning a basic salary of RM4,500 per month, so the bonus was a nice addition to my income.
