Also before you ever transfer to any investment, check the company against Bank Negara's financial consumer alert list and the SC investor alert list, both are free public lists of known scams. I always semak first now. For your current case, do everything the others said, and keep every screenshot. Don't pay any so-called recovery agent who promises to get your money back for a fee, that's a second scam targeting victims. Report and let the official channels work.

My uncle kena similar, we called 997 within the hour and the bank managed to freeze part of it because the mule hadn't withdrawn yet. He got some back, not all. The lesson: the first 60 minutes are gold. After that also still report, the police report is needed for any bank follow up and for records. Also warn your family, share the scam number in the family group so nobody else jatuh.

Don't feel malu, these scams are professionally run and even smart people get caught. Act fast, speed matters for any chance of recovery. Steps: (1) Immediately call the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) hotline 997, it operates for exactly this, and they can coordinate with banks to try freeze the receiving account if the money hasn't moved out yet. (2) Call your own bank's fraud line right away to flag the transfer. (3) Lodge a police report at the nearest balai, bring your IC, transaction proof and all chat records. Get the report copy. (4) You can also check and report scam numbers/accounts on the police Semak Mule portal. Recovery is honestly not guaranteed, mule accounts get emptied fast, but the faster you call 997 the better the odds of a freeze. Also report the scammer's number and account so others get warned. This is general guidance, follow whatever the NSRC and police officers instruct for your specific case.
